Besides the sail obviously! And if there is no difference, are there any convertible boards (windsurfing to surfing and vice versa) on the market?

  1. Hawaiian Rule

    Surfboards are thinner and lighter.

Windsurfing boards are thicker and heavier. They also have cleats and bigger fins and sometimes a keel board and attachment points for the sail.

    They are not interchangeable.

    Hello ' tatiana' :
Mijn antwoord was " Sail".

They are made to be surfed in heavy winds and to go a lot faster. They are not suitable for surfing.
