I’m headed out to HI this winter and want to do more beach stuff. What would you say is more fun for a beginner (I snowboard, but that probably won’t help very much)- Parasurfing, windsurfing or regular surfing? Which is cheaper to rent/take lessons? I imagine Waikiki is the best place for a beginner to get regular surfing lessons, but are there any other spots I should consider if I want to try the others?

In elk geval, leer te surfen. Ik had voor 8 jaar alvorens het windsurfing op te nemen, en wow, het was absoluut de hardste sport I' gesurft; ooit geleerd ve. Kitesurfing is een weinig gemakkelijker te leren maar niet bijna ontzagwekkend. Het surfen is ook het goedkoopst en daar is de meeste mensen die u lessen kunnen onderwijzen.
Zet het deze manier: Elke windsurfer die ik (dit verschillend zijn=zou= met meer of het oosten kust het gebaseerde windsurfing) het heb geweten is volkomen comfortabele het surfen dubbele luchtbranding, het is geen sport voor beginwaterman
waikiki really is a great place to surf, and is also probably the best spot on earth to learn. in my opinion if you go waikiki and don’t surf you’d be seriously missing out. you can rent boards and get lessons right there on the beach in waikiki but if you want a board for your entire trip i highly recommend . they will drop off and pick up your board straight to you for free, are super nice, very helpful, and it’s much cheaper than renting anywhere in waikiki. definitely take a lesson somewhere if you’ve never surfed before, but if you get hooked you’ll want a board for more than a few hours and these are the guys for it. have a great time!
