   I learned that “windsurfing” is “el surf de vela” and “for the first time” is “por primera vez”.

   “Surf” and “windsurf” have both been accepted by the Spanish Royal Academy.

   “Hacer windsurf” would be the verb.

   “for the first time” = “por vez primera” - “por primera vez”. (both correct)
