Anyone know if Lake Ontario is good for windsurfing?

I’ve been meaning to head out to Sardinia over the summer to do a bit of windsurfing but a mate of mine lives in Canada & invited me round so: Anyone knows anything about the conditions out there? Give or take Toronto Bay area.
